A project documenting the effects of the Cameroonian Anglophone-Francophone crisis on education in the Southwestern Region of the country.

At the Buea Youth Center in the capital of the southwestern region most students have dropped out from their courses in fear of attacks and the violence that follows such volatile situations.

Mr Golo Martin Elinge, head of the auto-mechanic department reports that in the past year, out of a total of 35 students, only 5 still attend classes.

The catering department has no students left as their parents have stopped them from attending.

As it is known, the youth are the future of a country but what kind of future does a country have if it’s youth are unable to access education?
